This week we’re going to play a little game. Below is a list of words. I want you to relax, sit in a calm place, give yourself at least 10 minutes. Breathe. Follow your breathing gently and smoothly till you relax. Look at the list of the words below and go slowly through them. Pick the ones that attract you, that grab your attention and call for you. Don’t second guess. Just pick them and copy them in your journal. Now go through the words in your journal and reflect upon them. Which ones you want to draw into your life now? Which ones feel close to your heart and yet missing in your life? Which ones do you most need in order to restore your balance? Prioritize. Then, reflect some more. I want you to reduce your list to only three. Which ones?

Mine were Trust, Relax, and Courage. The meaning of these words for me may point to something different than your meanings. Everyone has its own unique experience and unique needs. What do you need? What do you need right now in your life? If you wish, you can add your own words, your own meanings.

Is it love? Is it friendship? Is it forgiveness? Intimacy? Joy? Choose your words and play with them. Make a page in your journal for each one of your words. Choose a background color. Cut images and photos from magazines that speak to you. Make a collage, doodle, draw, journal… whatever you please. You do not need to be an artist. This doesn’t have to be perfect in any way. It’s yours. Your words… Your life! Reflect on how to draw these words into your life. Reflect on why you want to draw them into your life? Reflect on your needs. On your dreams. On your heart desires. Visualize your life with these traits/characters. How would it be? How will it change? What to do you need to do to affect those changes?
