Accepting our own truth entails having a clear distinction between the voice of the heart and the voice of the ego… Sometimes, it is hard to see the difference… sometimes the ego is hurt so badly that its screams overshadow the frail whispers of the heart. At this point, we know that we should slow down, or even pause completely and take time to reflect… time to purify the heart with all its beautiful traits of love, peace and forgiveness… time to nurture and nourish the body in order to lift the brain fog and silence the endless chatter. Sometimes, we even need to get away from the croaking crowds who are shooting their random advice and preaching like poisonous arrows that pierce our already torn heart… It is okay my friend… it is okay to feel vulnerable, it is okay to let those pearly tears flow… it is okay to ask for help… And, it is crucial to pray for guidance.
Know that, deep inside your fragile heart, there lays all the wisdom you need, all the strength you seek, and all the hope you aspire for…
Sometime, it is not by fight and struggle that we win our battles, but by love and peace… Sometimes, light is hidden in the darkest tunnel; you just have to keep walking. Even if your steps are too shaky… even if you have to stop every other step to catch your breath… even if it feels as if the tunnel is endless and the road is scary… Just keep walking… keep your head up… keep nurturing your heart with love and peace… and, most importantly, keep praying!
